Step 1 Download Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0

Important: If your PC already have 2.0 Framework, you don't need to download this. Even if your PC has 1.1 Framework, you will need to download .NET 2.0 and install it on your PC. You can check your PC by:

  1. Got to Control Panel
  2. Select Add/Remove programs
  3. If there is an entry called Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0 then you DO NOT NEED to download this. However, you may want to download Windows Media Player - see instructions below.
  4. If there is an entry called Microsoft .NET Framework 1.1 then you can leave it on your PC. However, should you have problems starting EasiSlides V4, you may need to uninstall Microsoft .NET Framework 1.1 to resolve the startup problem.

To proceed with the download, do the following:

  1. From the download page, click the Step 1 Download Now Button for the Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0.
  2. The Microsoft Download website will appear in a new window. Follow the instructions to download the framework.
  3. Optional: Download Windows Media Player 10 or DirectX version 9 – you don’t need to download these if you don’t want to use audio/video during live show. (WIndows XP already has DirectX 9 built in).
